Nasty Dirt Bike Crash Led to L4L5 L5S1 Disc Herniations, Sciatica, and Severe Foot Drop: Limitless Transformation
Written by John Snow, Limitless member:
“Ah yeah! Completed Limitless workouts after 3.5 months. Very thankful for this program as it impacted my life in a very meaningful way.
My Background:
- I herniated my L5-S1 and L4-L5 in Oct 2022 while biking.
- Led to extreme/debilitating pain/sciatica (including “foot drop”, throughout my whole leg, etc.) and lots of confusion.
- Months of very little sleep, more mental and physical ups and downs than I can remember, and little hope for recovery.
- I’ve broken a lot of bones and this was absolutely the worst injury I’ve experienced.
Now (Post-Limitless):
- STRONGER core. Actually have what looks like a little 6-pack on my lower back! Significantly improved core stability and overall strength.
- LESS PAIN and better understanding of what recovery looks like for my body/injury (the little setbacks don’t weigh me down - used to wreck my day).
- Much more CONFIDENCE - especially activities/movements involving flexion. Or even sitting. For over a year I had a lot of anxiety with anything that required me to sit for extended periods. That has mostly faded and I’m back to regularly flying for work (for example).
The Future:
- Educate. I want people to know Limitless exists and there’s a program to strategically focus your pursuit of a pain-free life.
- Competitive Bike Racing. I plan to return to professional racing after taking ~2 years off because of my injury.
- Incorporate Limitless as a weekly rhythm. Repeat later modules and perfect the movements - why? Because this program works! I want to continue to grow.
- Praise the Lord! Every day is a gift and I don’t deserve this recovery. Life is unpredictable and I hate how this injury destroyed my attitude and engagement with others for nearly a year. For me, I’m going to praise God that Cameron was super persistent with me in trying Limitless and that I was able to finish this program. It really has blessed my family and I.
Thank you, Whealth team!“ - John Snow, Limitless Member
